When the Lord called Traci Alexander to her first 40 day fast in early 2006, He opened the door to the storehouse of heaven, and she had an encounter with God that was so rich and satisfying that she has remained in this place of deep intimacy and abiding love with the Lord ever since. During this divine encounter, in which she "tasted and saw how good God is" and learned to delight in the "richest of fare," the Lord revealed a divine process for which He desired His Body (the Church) to utilize so they too could experience the satisfying and sustaining power of His Word and receive the nourishment His Body so desperately needs to feed the life He has deposited within through the power and presence of His Holy Spirit. Utilizing this divinely-inspired meal-by-meal devotional journal writing process, in which believers "feast" on the Word of God three times a day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (receiving spiritual nourishment just as one would with their physical nourishment), the Lord provided Traci with a divine tool that would help guide believers through their own 40-day period of consecration, in which they too, could experience the extraordinary filling and overflow of the abundant life of the love and the knowledge of the Lord He so desires His children to know and develop a disciplined lifestyle of dependence upon the Lord we so desperately need. Having unlocked the door, and found solace and satisfaction in the secret place of the Most High, Traci Alexander has answered the call of a scribe and written over twenty devotional prayer and fasting journeys that have helped to equip and empower believers to seek and find a deeper, more intimate abiding relationship with their First Love, their Beloved Bridegroom, Jesus Christ.
