Our Mission is to help believers discover the abundant and fulfilling life of deep, abiding intimacy with the Lord Jesus Christ He desires with His children, through a renewed commitment to the study of the Word of God and restored communion with the God of the Word through prayer.

This is accomplished through prayer and fasting devotional journeys which are written utilizing a divinely-inspired process of feasting on the Word of God meal-by-meal, three times a day, to build a lifestyle of dependence upon the Lord through His Word and in Prayer.

"Return to Me,' declares the LORD Almighty, 'and I will return to you."
(Zechariah 1:3)

"Yet I hold this against you:  You have forsaken your First Love.
Remember the height from which you have fallen!
Repent and do the things you did at first.
If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place."
(Revelation 2:4-5)

"Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline.
So be earnest, and repent.
Here I am!  I stand at the door and knock.
If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me."
(Revelation 3:19-20)

Two of our visions at Trumpet and Torch Ministries:

1. Oneness with God and the Unity of the Body of Christ (Acts 2:42-47; Ephesians 2:14-22; 4:12-16)
2.Spiritual Revival and Restoration (2 Chronicles 7:14; Isaiah 58; Jeremiah 3:14-15)

Our Passion is to see believers awakened to re-discover the power and presence of God in their lives through the disciplines of prayer and fasting, so they will be thoroughly equipped and empowered to become agents of compassion and change who will influence and impact the world for the glory of God.

"Shout it aloud, do not hold back.  Raise your voice like a trumpet.
Declare to My people their rebellion and to the house of Jacob their sins.
Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:
To loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke,
to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?
Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter -
when you see the naked to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations;
you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets and Dwellings."
(Isaiah 58:1, 6-7, 12)

Our Vision is to build individual believers up in their faith personally by developing greater intimacy with God, so the corporate Body of Christ can be made strong, healthy, united and whole to fulfill the Great Commission so the whole world may know personally the great love of God.

"Therefore, I urge you brothers, in view of God's mercy,

to offer you bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God -
this is your spiritual act of worship.
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is -
His good, pleasing and perfect will."
(Romans 12:1-2)

"You are the salt of the earth.
But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again?
It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.
You are the light of the world.  A city on a hill cannot be hidden.
Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl.
Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
In the same way, let your light shine before men,
that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
(Matthew 5:13-16)

We accomplish this through our own personal commitment to walk closely with God, and a corporate commitment to lead others to walk the same path towards total devotion and complete dependence upon the Lord.

Utilizing a unique and divinely-inspired process of "feasting" on the Word of God three times a day, Trumpet and Torch Ministries provides 1-, 3-, 8-, 10-, 12-, and 40-day "meal-by-meal" devotional prayer and fasting journeys, written by Traci Alexander, to guide believers through their own personal period of consecration to ultimately develop a disciplined lifestyle of dependence upon the Lord.

Following the Lord's example of using mealtime as an opportunity to teach and train in righteousness, Trumpet and Torch Ministries feeds believers with the only food that will nourish, sustain, and strengthen them - the Word of God (the Holy Bible).  With our resources believers will develop an insatiable appetite for truth and righteousness, discover a renewed satisfaction in Christ alone, and be awakened to fulfill their purpose in the world, "when they fast" (Matthew 6:17).

"It's been demonstrated that fasting has played a major role in the acceleration of the church...I don't know what will accomplish more for evangelism than fasting and prayer." - Bill Bright, Founder Campus Crusades for Christ
